BIOGRAPHY
I have created all my life. Interior design, my profession for many years, taught me the
subtleties of composition and color, which structured my present work. I am inspired by the art of Vermeer, Ingres, Sargent, Sarolla, Chase and Cassatt. I live with my husband, two daughters and two cats …. painting and drawing from my studio in Millington, New Jersey.

STATEMENT
I am drawn to diverse subjects yet always there is a commonality…something that lies between beauty and feelings. I see it in a child, in inanimate objects, in shadows. There is a certain excitement that tugs at me and when that happens I know that a painting has just been conjured up from somewhere unknown.
My style is a relaxed mixture of realism and impressionism. My continuing studies with master contemporary artists increases my understanding of the painting process and nudges from my existing style nuances that enhance and color my work.
